The Nikon AF-S DX 18-105mm Lens
4 of 4 found this helpful I purchased this lens so I would have a one lens camera. Since using it on a regular basis, I have nothing but praise for Nikon developing this lens. As a fairly low priced lens, the glass, barrel,switching system from VR to off is just simply amazing. The quality of the picture and clarity at all focal lengths is as good as lens's that cost much more. The weight balance ratio from camera to lens is a nice feel and close ups as well as long shots are great even when blown up. If you want a lens in this focal length buy it. It will sell itself to you and you will be the smiling camera guy. Congrats to Nikon, I expected no less. I've used many lens's and cameras. Nikon wins hands down. It is the most user friendly camera with a super menu that I have used.
