Not the most durable deck.
Deck "A" had issues with both playing a tape without stopping and also using fast forward/reverse controls. As well, when it did play, the sound was muted somewhat in the high frequencies. I subsequently replaced Deck A with another one from a different unit. Deck "B" works perfectly. It seems never to have been used (the record function). The original Deck "A" showed signs of excessive use.

Get the original not the revised
This was one of the 3 Phyllis Whitney books that I read in the '50's when I was 11-12. It made reading a lifelong necessity for me. But it was the original Westminster hardcover edition I read, not the revised paperbacks. That is the only way I can give this book 5 stars. It is still as great today as it was in 1954.

Excellent value; high quality.
If you need a 16 ohm, compact tweeter to add to a system lacking sparkle, this is the one to buy. The frame is 4-1/2 inches square and magnet cut out hole is a shade over 3-1/2 inches (90 mm). A 4 mfd capacitor (not included) needs to be added. Great value, well constructed and a definite improvement in overall sound quality.
