does exactly what you think it does
I mean, what more can you want, it's exactly what it says it is. Personally I used it to replace my dreamcast battery holder with the attached battery, this way I can just switch it out real nice.

Can't go wrong (or maybe you can?)
1 of 1 found this helpful This is literally what it says on the tin, it's a 1 female to two female splitter, it's even colour coded. Magnificent piece of work.
One thing to note, the way single jack headsets work is different sometimes, so the bottom pin might be L, next R, mic then ground. Now this can get a little tricky, since it's not exactly going to magically rewire itself, so if your headset happens to be R, L, mic, ground or L, R, ground, mic or even by some magic mic, L, R, ground, then things might get a bit difficult.
In my experience, it's usually just the L and R that are mixed up, but some headsets/headphones like apple headphones are a little backward and do have a different ground/mic positioning and whatnot.
Lastly, if your intention is to use this with a turtlebeach headset from xbox one on pc, in my experience the L and R are switched, and require third party software to switch the L and R channels manually, since there's no viable way to switch them via hardware (unless you buy another 2 splitters, but that's just getting silly, the software alternative is far better and easier.
but yeah this does what it says, it splits a single male jack into two male, perfect for (most) single jack headsets

Useless product, find something more suitable
