A portrait of the Jewish Atlanta I knew.
I was only interested in the Chapter on Atlanta because it was based on the Elsas family which by the third generation were good friends of my siblings. I may get around to the other chapters since I am very interested in divergent aspects of Jewish life, but the were not the reason I purchased this book. Compelling? Depends on the reader's level of knowledge and interest.

Cracked but I could fix it.
Small, good light output. Arrived cracked in shipment. Functional, so I used super glue rather than return for replacement. Designed to be lowest possible cost. That is the way things are done.

That's my Cousin
Fascinating book for a limited audience. Good local history for Ottawa and the Jewish community. Avid read since protagonist was my father's first cousin and I had no knowledge of this part of the family lore.
