Some of the best polish for doing nickle on guns leaves no fine scratches what so ever and the polish of surface you can achieve is almost mirror finish....i recommend using a fine micro fiber cloth clean one and simply work what ever by hand for best results...you only need a drop at time as it is very runny formula so be warned...
To clean polishing cloth which will have black on it simply scrub by hand with dawn dish soap to clean the cloth...i recommend too using Otis Technology Microfiber Gun Cloth there of great quality and very soft for hi end polishing
