Super C for NES delivers the goods!
2 of 2 found this helpful As a sequel to the NES classic Contra, this game has some big shoes to fill. I would definitely say that it delivers the goods, with more of the same ground-breaking graphics, sound, and multi-player fun of the original. Also inherited, however, is the legendary difficulty. For the casual gamer this game can very quickly become an exercise in frustration. For the hardcore gamer, though, it offers great replay value because of the feeling of accomplishment that you get from progressing through the game. Also of note is the exceptional co-op multi-player. This was one of the main reasons that I decided to add this game to my collection. Even though this game came out nearly 17 years ago I still have a blast playing through this game with a friend. To me that is the definition of a true classic! I would recommend this game to anyone who likes the original NES Contra, is looking for a good challenge, wants to show off what the NES can do, or is looking for a good co-op multi-player game.
