Not very strong. I would not use this for a DSLR camera.
The stand is not high quality. The weak point is the pin holding the latch for the quick connector. The pin comes out easily in normal use and then the quick release mount lets the camera fall off the stand. I would not trust this mount with anything other than a very lightweight camera.
If the pin didn’t fail then the quick release mechanism is the next weak point. It is very lightweight and does not inspire confidence that it will hold the weight of the camera if you want to carry it by the stand. (As they do for selfie videos)

The last ECTO-1 available before paying collectable prices
I wish I bought the ECTO-1 when they were available and on sale, but this was the best condition and best priced secondary market one available. Very happy to have snapped it up.
