Hidden Gem
1 of 1 found this helpful I had heard about Tad through several interviews with more famous bands from that same time period and finally had a chance to hear one of their songs "Giant Killer" (not on this album) on the Seattle Scene compilation "Sleepless in Seattle" when that was released in about 2005. I instantly liked that song so kept it in my mind that I needed to check out a Tad album if the chance were to ever arise. So, one day when I was browsing ebay, I found this cd for about $1.75 and new that was a deal that couldn't be beat.
The second I put this CD in the stereo and the first song "Grease Box" kicked in I knew I was going to love this CD. The production and mastering of the CD are of the quality one would expect from the early 90's which is near to perfection unlike most modern day recordings it seems. Anwyay, the music was astounding! Track after track kept blowing me away and I still to this day can't understand why this band never made it off of this CD alone.
While the whole album is a good listen, there are some tracks that really get my blood pumping. The slow slutty groove of the bass in "Just Bought the Farm" happens to be one of them. Another good track would be the darkly humorous "Pansy" which I believe is inspired from the Green River murders that happened near Seattle.
The music is heavy, dirty, and sleazy...it definitely gets the job done. If you like your music with heavy slow grooves that just pound you in the face, you'll like this CD.

Silent runners
These fans are pretty quiet and look really good if you like green LED fans. As with all fans, time will tell how durable they are so I can't really comment on that aspect of things. I do believe they will last a good while just with the quality feel of the materials used in the construction of them.
