Accurate
I bought this scale because I have many large heavy items I need to sell on Ebay. I'd previously owned several different digital scales and the never work right. So I decided to go with the old fashioned kind. This scale is so easy to figure out. It was a little off when I got it, but all I had to do was turn a knob to adjust the needle to 0 and that's it. I tested it with a 5 pound barbell and it was right on the money. I weighed myself while I was holding the barbell and not holding it.
The only bad thing I have to say about this scale is that it's kind of small and seems somewhat delicate. It goes up to 300 lb but I wouldn't trust it not to break from very heavy people or items that come close to 300 lb.
