Gladys Knight Still On Top Of Her Game
Gladys Knight began her career at the age of 8, winning a talent show on the Ted Mack Show. This is long before American Bandstand, Soul Train and definitely before American Idol. Through the decades she has become "America's Sweetheart". This album lifts spirits from despair and breaks down musical barriers and illustrates the passion that Ms Knight has for her music. Although this album has several filler songs, "Next Time" and "I Don't Want To Know" reflects excellent harmony and melody changes are her signature. Her version of "End Of The Road" will make you remember musical quality at all levels.
