(NEARLY) BACK TO THEIR BEST!
1 of 1 found this helpful As a fan for 40 years, this album takes me back to a lot of the 1970s Quo.....tracks reminiscent of albums from Hello! through to Whatever You Want....the manky soft pop rock of the mid 1980s has gone back to their old fashioned riff-driven harder blues-rock-boogie sound. Unmistakably Quo, this works best in your car with the volume up.....just as it should be.
I always favoured the songs where Rick Parfitt took lead vocals, and Reality Cheque is therefore a big hit with me...if you're a Quo fan, old or new, this is a must have. The live CD is a special bonus - hearing the opening bars of Caroline never fails to make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, just as it always did.....
