One of the best 35mm cameras still out there
3 of 3 found this helpful My first K1000 lasted from 1977 thru last year. I believe if I had not left in on my boat in Long Island sound over the past summer it would still be taking great pictures like it always had. Simple to use, yet makes you think about your shot be fore pressing the shutter release!

Great camera and easy to use with time.
I had one a few years ago and sold it. Didn't know to much about DSLR 's at the time and went back to 35mm film. Now I realize how good of a camera is for the price. This one is here for good!
