Vintage Pyrex
3 of 4 found this helpful I bought these Pyrex measuring cups because they are vintage. As it turns out, Pyrex recently changed their glass formula from a borosilicate recipe to a soda-lime recipe; as a result, the new glass shatters MUCH more easily with thermal shock. I decided to buy these because they are older cups (my mother has had hers for decades and no problem with them breaking) and made of the borosilicate glass.
The only reason that I am giving this 3 stars instead of 5 is that while the cups are exactly what I wanted, the large 4-cup cup wasn't packaged correctly and shattered dramatically in the mail. I had to dig through a box full of glass to retrieve the other ones while trying to keep my cats from playing in the glass that got everywhere when I opened the box.
