Switches as is expected but no sound emerges
Am not sure why, but although the switch clearly switches between the 4 in & 1 out, I can't get any sound - it may be an encoding issue. I can see the red laser light switching between the output ports - just can't get the sound system to recognise it. If I use a combiner ( 1 in & 2 out) I can get that to work. i.e. It looks like it works but the output doesn't produce sound ?.
In summary, the switch appears to work as described but the output (even though I can see the red laser coming out of the out cable) doesn't produce sound in the amp (PS I am an audio engineer). I am writing this off to a problem with encopding but really need to investigate deeper.
