Piece of junk!
Pro: Nice keyboard layout.
Con: This laptop has the worst battery life of any one I have ever used. Somewhere I read the battery charge should last about five hours; however, the actual battery life is one to three hours if surfing the web. This is not a portable/mobile computer if you have to be plugged in. There is only one battery type available for this piece of HP junk so don't bother looking for a larger battery.

PERFORMED AS ADVERTISED
Had a few old IDE drives and did not want to resale or destroy without first ensuring they were wiped. Using this device I was able to review the drive and using a separate program wire the drive.
