Fit great and started on first pull after installing this new carb on Stihl 041
I tried to rebuild original Tilotson carb with the Tilotson rebuild kit and thorough cleaning. My Stihl 041 would no run. I bough this brand new carb. Installed it and it started and ran great on first pull of the cord. Should have bought this carb first before trying to rebuild my old carb. Fitment was great with zero issues

Good Sound but sticky reed and sound adjuster
I read that sometimes the reeds freeze in these in cold weather and when you blow you may have to move the sound adjuster back in forth to unfreeze it. Well mine does it all the time even in above freezing weather. Reed sticks all the time and the sound adjuster slide is really hard to move back and forth to get it to work. I do like the sound but I feel like I am fumbling with it to get it to work too much.

After fiddling with the original carb several times, this is a cheap fix and blower now runs great Echo ES-250
