Excellent camera for beginners or professionals
1 of 1 found this helpful This has so many features but I mainly used it on auto and let it decide. The pictures were always excellent. It has a Zeiss lens and I found it was easier and took better pictures than those of people in my photo group who felt they had to have Nikons or Cannons...and struggled with complications. An amateur or a skilled photographer would both love this camera. You could also set it to a very narrow focus to see a bird in focus in the middle of a tree. It could capture drops of water in mid air absolutely clearly. I took a photo of El Capitain in Yosemite from about a half mile away from the base. I was able to later zoom in with software and capture climbers on the face who could not be seen at all in original photo.
