Concerns allayed
Plantronics have been making telephony related products for many years so I was surprised to see they make these retail consumer products too.
My monster isport earbuds had lasted me we'll for 4 years but the cable had acquired an intermittent break near the headphone jack so we're due for replacement.
I use my earbuds on a daily basis for up to 2 hours, so a good product is a must.
Often I wear them whilst cycling connected to my mobile in my jersey back pocket.
Noticing there were now a few Bluetooth wireless options I was interested in a wire-free option.
Many hours of research had me opting for the plantronics. Read Amazon reviews in USA as they sell 1000's plus some video reviews.
Was procrastinating over it as my isports were still usable, I was at the gym and bumped into someone wearing these backbeats. Asked them for their opinion and got a real look at them.
The user said he had tried 3 different $100+ Bluetooth earbuds and these were the best.
No connection problems, no falling out of ears and controls all usable.
That was the final push I needed and orders them.
Been using them daily for 2 weeks and I have no complaints. As long as you are prepared for having to charge these frequently (7hrs usage) they are excellent.
The audio is very good for non isolating fitting and range is excellent.
Once on my head, I never have to touch or readjust them - they stay put which is fantastic for riding.
The no around the back of the head is non interfering and you forget it's even there.
I would strongly recommend these.
Plantronics make quality tidy ts and these are right up there.

Identical to Ford branded part
Different part number but identical in every respect, i.e. ford rebrand this with FoMoCo.
Fits perfectly.
