A cult classic,just wish more people experienced this beautiful game.
One of the best games ever made,no matter which console era,it undersold to an odd release with more advertised games.I owned this game when it first came out and enjoyed playing it a couple of times through,but I gave my copy to my cousin who was new to the xbox gaming system at the time,my cousin enjoyed playing it,but his wife really enjoyed it and they both stated that it was,one of there favorite games ever.the reason I bought this game is that I no longer had a copy and I really enjoy the original xbox and this is such a unique gaming experience,I can't think of any other game that has comparable gameplay.i want I like about this game is that it's an action adventure game unlike any other and the graphics really where ahead of their time,plus I don't remember any other game besides (fatal frame)where you use a camera as part of the action.i have heard rumblings of a sequel on the next gen systems which would be a huge surprise due to the lackluster sales of Beyond Good&Evil,but with the power house Ubisoft making and promoting the game I could see the sequel making a retail success.i would recommend this game to each and every gamer out there no matter what genre you enjoy,this game has a little bit of everything.I'm actually looking to buy a Playstation 2 copy for my collection.Please pick up a copy of Beyond a Good&Evil I know you will glad you did,it's fun for the whole family,if you enjoy this game another one I recommend is Armed and Dangerous for Xbox only,it's another cult classic that didn't have retail success due to a weird release,it's a shooter and has cartoon like appearance like a Beyond Good &Evil, two of my all time favorite games,please try them and let me know how you enjoy them by also reviewing them here,thank you for reading my review and I hope it helps you enjoy two unique gaming experiences.Please pass on responsible gaming onto the next generations,Game On.

I'm just excited that Pitfall and Pitfall 2 are included with this game.
1 of 1 found this helpful I played this game when it came out in 2004, I didn't really care for it that much,I was hoping to play the old school version not some cartoon wannabe,well I played it for a few minutes now and it's actually a decent game and is enjoyable.The real reason I purchased this is that Pitfall and pitfall 2 are included with this game,I haven't played them yet ,but I can't wait to do some exploring,vine jumping and jumping on some alligators heads,thank you activision for the two originals.
