some inaccuracy in suppliers advice , nothing serious
Nothing wrong with the fan but although I enquiried if it was suitable for ceiling fixing and was advised it was ,when it arrived the instructions said it was not.
This was solved by not using the supplied pull cord ( not designed for suspended downward pull ) but connecting to the existing independant pull cord I had in place.
Despite this not being a constant " live " source as specified the louvres still close without power after some delay so no problem.
