AMD Athlon II X4 645 3.10GHz Processor, ADX645WFK42GM, Socket AM3 / AM2+

More performance for a good price.
The Good: -Easy to install given one know how to switch out a CPU; if not I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube -More performance for not a lot of cash; I spent about $17, modern day processors cost about $100 - $200 - My game performance improved; I still play on the lowest graphic settings but it definitely runs smoother for me. Good enough for me. -Came with pre-applied thermal paste. -Higher frequency output. The Bad: -Had to buy an upgraded fan/heatsink to handle the higher heat output; not really that bad but I still had to spend money. Still worth it in my opinion. -I bought the insurance that came with it, which was about 2 or 3 dollars. Still worth it just in case something happens. -Can't overclock but I wasn't planning on doing that anyway; it saved some money. Thoughts: My rig: -Went from a AMD Athlon II x2 245 to AMD Athlon II x4 645 -8 GB of DDR3 RAM -AMD Radeon RX 560 My rig is originally a Dell Inspiron 570 which came out around 2009. It does what I need it to and I recommend other just use older hardware cause there's enough performance depending on what one plans to do or what games one plays. I've played Fallout 76 and there is less choppiness.

East to install, Works perfectly.
Well, I have an old, old, Inspiron 570 and it had a couple extra RAM slots available so I decided to fill them up with this product. Price was reasonable and shipping was extremely fast. The product works as it should. I think I expected my computer to be super fast after installing but I have to be realistic, all I did was instead 4 GB of extra RAM. But I'm happy with my purchase. I can play video games a bit better and the performance no longer gets sluggish. Easy to install as RAM usually is. The only thing I had an issue with was not receiving the BRAND I wanted. Because RAM can come from different manufacturers and from the details of the product I would be buying RAM but it could be one of a handful of manufacturers. I wanted SAMSUNG but got something else. Some brand I didn't recognize. But I am still happy with the purchase. The RAM works and I have no regrets.

- Someone said it reads like poetry and I'd have to agree. - Short chapters, simple text - although sometimes it's hard to understand the concepts that are being explained.
