Works but not well.
I had one once before that came with my metal detector. It kept turning itself off with new batteries in it. I sent it back. I decided to try again. I thought maybe I had just got a bad one. This one stays on fine but doesn't pick up a signal very well. My old Garrett picks up from over 4 inches and this one at 2 3/4 inches on the same coin. I have one I bought for $19 that picks up better than the Minelab. I do however love my Minelab Equinox 800.

Not good quality
After installing the ball joints, the spindle would not move. They seem to have been machined incorrectly. I had to go buy some american made ones to fix it. I never installed the tie rods for fear of the quality being bad.
