Good replacement for stock fork

My wife has a Specialized Crossroad that is a few years old. The stock fork and headset were getting corroded so I decided to replace them. This is a better fork than the stock and is a good replacement, although I had to cut off about an inch of the steerer tube. It is not something you would want to use on an all out mountain bike, but for a multi trail recreational bike it is fine. It also has a lockout for riding on straight pavement.
