Scratched disk, didn’t work

Got the game and it wasn’t in the holder in the case so was just bouncing all around during shipping and so I put it in the GameCube and it didn’t work due to scratches. Took it to the game store to have them resurface it and again, didn’t work. Very very disappointing..
