Good collection of lesser-known steel recordings from pre-pedal era

There are some real gems in there, but also some duds, and a couple of tunes that don't have any steel at all! But even so it's a good introduction to the early steel styles. Very little pedal steel; don't expect to hear much of the glorious pedal steel country records from the 60s, for example.
