The book is an excellent review of the various uniforms worn by the grenadiers and voltigeurs of Napoleon III's Imperial Guard.

Fine overview of Japanese uniforms worn during the Sino-Japanese War and World War II. Excellent photos of actual equipment and weapons.

Even though the book is in Russian, albeit with a foreward in English and English captions to the illustrations, the illustrations are excellent.
