Ultex Picks
Ultex is the Name that Dunlop uses for this pick material. Other brands use this material also. You can usually buy the Dunlop brand at a lower price point.
Pick thickness is responsible for a guitarist basic tone. The Ultex material makes that tone wider. It reveals tones hidden by other picks. The sensitivity of the pick will create an appreciation of pick technique that quite possibly, you have never heard before.

Highs in the low end.
I put this neck pickup in the Bridge Position. I wanted highs in the low end... it is a pickup that leans toward the high mids... as desired, I have highs in the low end. Articulate, harmonicly complex cord sounds. Pick technique / attack, determines tone. The Imperium neck does not focus in the low-mids.
The PAF Master Neck pickup complements the Imperium perfectly.
