Great to upgrade existing GXP2200 or to replace faulty dead LCD-Screens of GXP3240 or GXP2200

As this Version of the GXP-3240 is Handset-/PowerSupply-/Stand-LESS offering, it's a great Product to upgrade older Phones like GXP-2200 that uses same plugs and wiring. So you can use your old Power Supply (if you're not already using PoE) and Handset from GXP-2200. Only the stand is not compatible between GXP-2200 and this Unit. Also great value to replace a faulty or with "white Lines" broken or completely dead LCD-Pixels of both GXP-3240 or GXP-2200 phones.

Great Product IF you have 128COMP-V1 SIM-Card (Today Most Cards are V2)

Absolutely amazing Product IF you have a (old) SIM-Card that is according Standard 128COMP-V1. If so DO NOT get your SIM Card replaced by your Operator as mostly you will get a modern 128COMP-V2 Card it will be not possible to copy such card by this or any other devices. You can argue with your Operator that you might have a OLD BMW with a Built in Handsfree set, that was known to only work with 128COMP-V1 Generation of SIM-Cards. But most Providors do not have any of those cards left unfortunately. I have not seen any 4G Cards that are 128COMP-V1. So if your Card is 4G (Your Phone shows 4G next to the Antenna and not just H/H+) you most likely willhave a new Card and not have any use for this. I combined on my 16in1 SIM Card the leading Providers of Switzerland (Sunrise and Swisscom). I used to have US T-Mobile as well, but that SIM Card got replaced with a new one and a old SIM can not be reactivated.

Great Product - Tricky Config if bought used

Great reliable product. Only downside is, if you buy it online used on E-bay, that you need a special Terminal-Serial to RJ45-Cable to set IP-Address. Most of those units sold on E-Bay do not include that cable, also many PC's today do not have a Serial Port anymore, so you need a USB-Serial-Adapter on top of that. Simplest solution, make sure your seller sends you the Unit configured to accept DHCP or factory reset to default IP on the physical Sticker.
