Booting Unit?
This was bought instead of that other ebay phony's "$1.00" scam which I had refunded.
Nothing will boot with it, not my MacBook Pro, nor my Acer Laptop, using any drive. In
Windows 7, 'disk management' 'sees' the drive, but it will not display in 'Computer'. My
Mac just says, basically, "get that crap drive out of here", and refuses to acknowledge it.
Debian Linux sees it, and I can access it's mac contents through that OS, but still not
boot from anything attached to this adapter. Pretty limited functionality, but it is 'cheap'.
So, don't try to boot any drive using this, as it won't work. Also, Win 7 calls it USB 2.0,
and not 3.0, as it was advertised. I am a certified IT Tech, and I cannot recommend this.
*UPDATE: I was able to boot my MacBook Pro using this adapter, by holding the option
key at the start-up chime. THERE the attached bootable mac drive DOES show up.

Not as advertised?

explain your claim that this is an 2012 epiphone limited edition black royale ES-339
Pro. I see none of the aforementioned genuine features in your photos of this guitar.
