Lego Pirates 6259 Broadside Brig
I'm of an age where I was "too old" for Lego when this great little set came out in 1991 yet here we are some 25 years later as I approached its arrival like a kid at Xmas. It's one of the smallest sets of the ones that came out at the time, but with two soldiers, a pirate, a prison cell, weapons galore and the all important parrot it works on many levels. It's a standalone or can be used in conjunction with 6267 Lagoon Lock Up or 6265 Sabre Island to make a bigger extended set and story. Time has treated this set well with the only changes to the minifigs being a back print on the last pirate releases in 2015. It still a great set and one that can still be picked up at a reasonable price (less than £20 for mine). Replacement pieces are relatively easy to acquire for those wishing to build one, though the printed wall sections can be pricey. Every Lego Pirate fan should have one of these in their collection, so what are you waiting for!!
