Macbook Pro 2011
1 of 6 found this helpful I removed my optical drive and replaced it with the old HDD. Then installed this SSD as my boot and main HD. Installation was easy and everything seems to be running smooth. Now I just need another one to replace my old HDD and try to set up a RAID 0.
The reason why I did not give 5 stars is because in the box there is a link to install Crucial's Storage Executive software. While the actual SSD is compatible with Mac, the Storage Executive software isn't. It isn't necessary for the drive to function properly, but does have some convenient features that would be nice to have available.
Other than that, I am very pleased and will be buying another soon.
