Outstanding Phone - Battery Issues when new

I have had this phone for over 2 years and all three of my handsets are still going strong. I purchased this phone based on the reviews and my past experience with Panasonic products. Everything about this phone is top-notch. Before this phone I had crap phones from V-Tech and AT&T and I sold those off after only having them for 2 or 3 months. The sound quality was just not there. These phones are almost perfect in every way. I love the built in phone book and being able to copy phone books between phones. I have two base stations and they both work great. One is just a Voice Mail notification base, Model KX-TG270S. What that means is that it will check your voicemail status if your voicemail service is with your phone company. You then just press the VM button on the phone or base to dial the voicemail system. The base unit that has the actual digital Voicemail is also very nice. That model is the KX-TG2730S. The only real problem I found with these phones was the factory battery. The die really quickly and need to be replaced. I replaced my batteries with Energizer brand ones for about $15 each and the have worked perfect since.
