Was there Jul 68/Jul69 not mentioned.
1 of 2 found this helpful I arrived there aprox 19 Jul 69 with 5500 others from 1/5 Inf specifically A Co, 1/77 Armor along with the remainder of 1/5th INF- This was when you stated that we were evacuating troops from Vietnam when 5500 was deploying there. There was no mention of KheSangh around Dec of 67-Tet Offensive. I was stationed just s of the DMZ at ConThein. While I was with A, 1/77 Armor wewas at KheSangh in Apr-69 and also on a mission inside the DMZ along the coast we werewiththe Marines and 15 tanks-my most enjoyable day in Vietnam. We had 4 KIA and 28 wounded during my 1 year tour. This doesn't go along with your reports. This is not what you wanted to hear!!!! And it doesn't fit your guidelines. VN
