Indigenous people ("Indians") are very astute observers and their wisdom stems from an ancient reliance on verbal (rarely written) communication. This Lakota Dictionary provides insights into a cosmology of relationships, alluded to in the metaphysical resonance and vibrations that surrounds all. Words, after all, are mere approximations and placeholders for presents.
