Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 prime lens: a good value choice
I've been photographing frequently over the past year and progressed to buying a Sony Alpha A7iii, which included a FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens. Because I watch online tutorials and read camera related books, I realised that a quick, prime lens would most likely be a good upgrade for someone relatively new to more serious 'art' and landscape photography. The reviews confirmed that, for the price, the Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 prime lens would be a decent buy. As soon as I shot the first few test images, I knew that I'd made a good decision in purchasing it.
The construction is robust, the depth of field allows a good range of visual effects, the bokeh is pleasing, and the image quality is crisp. As I transition from beginner to intermediate, I'm sure that this lens will serve well. I would highly recommend the Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 prime lens for price and excellent performance.
