Z800's are ultra reliable workhorses at great prices.

Z800's have a great chassis. HP did extensive testing on air flow to ensure that everything is well cooled without producing a lot of noise. All the drives, covers, and even the power supply can be removed without tools. It's a nice platform to work on. One down side is the SATA II controller. If you want better performance, I suggest adding a SATA III card. This particular computer has HP's CPU water cooling, which I consider a valuable asset, but not absolutely necessary. HP's standard CPU cooling also works well.

GREAT replacement light assembly

I had to make a few modifications to fit this light assembly into an existing ceiling fan. So I had an opportunity to closely examine its construction. The PC board is well constructed and there's thermal compound between it and the steel back-plate. Decent mounting hardware was included. The integrated power supply is very convenient and space efficient. The LED's are bright and the color comports with the stated 5000K specification, which I consider idea for areas where bright light is desired, e.g. office, kitchen, bathrooms, et cetera. This unit is a significant improvement over every florescent fixture I've used and much better than the prior LED unit I replaced with the Silverlite.
