Not what I expected.
I haven't started making this yet, however I was a bit disappointed when I opened the package. I have never made one of these, only crib size which are already sewn. So I knew this would be different, but it is a long way from looking like the photo. I am guessing after I complete the cross stitch I can stitch through with a design. I do not have a machine or funds to have it done. I'm not sure this was the best use of my money. Sorry.

Thread is not DNC
I had no idea the embroidery floss was not going to be DNC. I have purchased this brand before and have not run into this. I cannot imagine how I can match the colors. Sad.

Missing directions
This was an unopened kit so I think the directions for the background on the blocks was somehow omitted from the original kit. I’m hoping to be able to look at the picture and fill it in. I purchased a similar set in the early 80’s for about 50cents a block! These were $5.00 a block. Yikes!
