Very thorough!
After reading this book through the library system, I ordered my own copy! I wanted it in my own collection to refer to and jot notes in. Very thorough in helping me to understand my seven year old son's recent diagnosis. Not a light read, but worth the effort!

Great explanation of dyslexia for friends and family.
I purchased this book to help explain my 7 year old son's diagnosis to him. It covered many (if not all) of the troubles he has had with language and learning to read. The book approached the subject in a matter of fact way, yet with a positive outlook. It was great to read aloud to him, and talk about. It is a great "fast read" for others (grandparents,friends) who need an explanation of what dyslexia is and how it can affect the child in their life.
