Worthless copy of the original
It is designed to open jars but it just makes a lot of noise and spins.I bought two as gifts for older, arthritic friends but they are trash. As a copy of the original RoboTwist jar opener it fails miserably. When working properly this item assures independence for anyone not strong enough to open jars. The original costs twice as much but mine's been working perfectly for several years and it's way quieter than the cheap copies. Don't waste your money.
