Im pleasantly surprised..beautiful book well thought out
This is a book I would have bypassed in my younger years but Im half way through reading and my outlook is different..we are responsible for how our bodies and minds age..more than we could ever imagine..give it a go!

Hilarious and sad and happy and beautiful
I have read this book more than once and loved it each time..its a feel good book ..was made into a very good movie also. There is comedy and sadness and there are life lessons also. Innocence and calculated risk. Its a winner, an education and I loved it.

A book with heart that will keep you reading
Have you read American Dirt? Well this for me anyway was better..more heart and less violence. A well thought out view into what some people, hard working people with family to feed have had to cope with and I believe still do to this day. Read and count your own blessings..this is a beauty
