Great little mixer for a small band or small studio, the USB interface works nicely with Audacity and other DAWS.
Well constructed with a logical layout of controls, very clean sound from the pre-amps. Faders are smooth and clear, plenty of input and output options on a small footprint mixer. The USB interface is easy to use for recording vocals and instruments into a variety of DAWS. Even with an older PC laptop the playback/record latency is almost zero. I looked at several other brands but decided on the Mackie for quality and price point.

Amazing musician's tool
I've looked for something like this for years, tried rhythm machines, and the beat patterns in all my electronic keyboards but they all were lacking versatility and reality. This software is amazing in it's ability to allow you to create some of the most realistic backing tracks you could ever imagine. I haven't played in the public for years but I may have to get up a few gigs thanks to this new program, makes and old picker like me sound like a whole band. I'm not a trained/schooled musician, I play by ear and have minimal computer skills, this software is very sophisticated with many capabilities I'll never master but it's also intuitive and easy to use, within a couple hours I learned enough to start putting together some custom tracks for a few of my favorite songs. The RealTracks and RealDrums, will blow you away, so much versatility, it's like jamming with all the best studio musicians in the comfort of your home. They named it correctly, it really is a Band in a Box!
