I'm a simple man at age 73, al I need is simple direction back to camp. or back to my mark.
Mark your camp. Shut it off to save battery unless u want exact trac back to camp.
Turn it on and follow the arrow. swamp? mountain? go around, will still point direction back to your start. Same with marking spot where u are. leave it on for exact trail back to were u where, or shut it off after marking spot and u can come pretty darned close to where u were. I'm not much into coordinates with a more expensive unit ( and I own one) and you can still miss by a short distance. I'm told that Bushnell will no longer make these? Too bad, great unit. I now own three, only cause I thought I lost one. Replaced it with two after hearing about Bushnell. Found my other one, LOL. No matter, I will have a replacement for breakage or loss. Would I recommend it? You bet I would.
