This game is violent, gorey and bloody. It's just wonderful.
Yes, Gears of War 2 is indeed has more impaction than the first. Epic Games tried their best to create a deeper and more involved storyline with the second game in the series and for the most part they succeeded. In some areas flawlessly so. There's no question that storyline plays a much more important role than it did in the first game. Characters are more emotional, more is revealed about the Locust and where they come from (as well as a look at the Locust Queen), and there are also plenty of new story threads that are opened up. Some of which are wrapped up in the end, most of which are not. But those not looking for a story intensive experience might be a bit turned off by the increased number of cut scenes and dramatic outbursts. There's certainly more to watch than in the first game, but there are frequent breaks in the action that rely on the player investing in the characters in order to hit home.

Great product at a great price.
I bought this product for a new experience in gaming. The game did take a few levels to really get in to, but overall, a really good game. This game is surprisingly great, given that it's not that well known. The graphics don't compare to games like Halo Reach or COD, but a very fun and entertaining gaming experience, from the sharp wit of the characters, to the pure first person shooter action. I would recommend this game to anyone.

Brilliant game at a brilliant price.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this product to view a different aspect of gaming. I don't usually play games that are in a 3rd person view, but this was a really new and exciting game. The storyline is fantastic, as is the characters involved. I didn't dislike anything about the product...it was a fantastic game! I would recommend this to anyone. The graphics are great and the storyline is one of the best. It's length is long enough that you can keep playing for hours, but it doesn't leave you feeling bored.
