not universal for me
it is not all that universal as it does not fit very well with the pieces to my old press. however, i am able to wiggle the press bits in. it fits really loose in the frame however.

so far so good
i had a black & decker for several years that i loved--with the standard blade. i have been using this one--fusion blade--for a few weeks and it seems to be handling my needs--making pesto, sauces, smoothies, flours, and soups.

will not fit little kids--much too big
this seems to be well-made & sturdy, however, it said it was for kids. i bought it for my five year old who loves tool belts & dress up, but it is several sizes too big. it probably won't actually fit him for another five years or more. he tried to wear it once after i tied knots in the belt to shorten it, but it was an awkward fit & he lost interest.
