Excellent and scarce!

These bits are virtually impossible to find in the shops, including specialist electrical and electronics shops. I was delighted to find them (after much searching!) on eBay. They appear to be very good quality - hardened steel alloy - and are certainly attractively priced. Now for all those little jobs which I couldn't do before I got these!

Excellent design.

Exactly as described. Does what it is supposed to do. The bonus is that it protrudes from the wall no more than an ordinary slim plug would, unlike most multi-way adapters. This actually increases its safety by being less prone to being knocked or broken by chairs, cabinets, children, etc.

Useless

When plugged in it buzzed and the little cooling fan came on and the USB part seemed ok, but for the main purpose, the 150 Watt mains inverter, it was completely dud. Plugged my little 70 Watt fridge into it and not even the small interior light came on! I checked the connections and they were all fine but the device would not power the fridge or even its 15 Watt bulb! DO NOT BUY THIS unless you really WANT the most expensive and bulkiest USB car charger in the world! I bought two (as my car has a second socket in the boot) and they are both identically useless. Be warned!
