Outstanding narrative - For those who believe Joseph Smith is/was a prophet of God and for those who do not believe .

Watched this movie at age 17. Great adventure movie - no cussing, no graphic sex - might be boring to some - but refreshing to others.

A Town Like Alice
One could not watch a better produced, directed, and acted movie. It is a story depicting the Japanese take over of Malaya - forcing English women to walk hundreds of miles, the captured English men building railroads. A love story begins when the lives of Jean Paget and Joe Harman meet. She, on the forced march, and he, a captive Australian POW assigned as mechanic. Among the many notable characters in the movie, not the least is the solicitor who falls in love with Jean, but who because of his personal integrity informs Jean that the man she had fallen in love with and thought dead, was very much alive. It is a winer of numerous international award. Highly recommended.
