Sony XDRS50B Radio
This is a great looking radio, and was purchased to upgrade from a previous Sony radio that had lasted years but the tuning on it was inconsistent. It looks stylish, has a very easy tuning facility and shows the stations it has tuned into, very clearly. With it being a digital radio, the reception is very clear, however it does struggle on reception indoors - this may be due to the broadcast coverage and therefore might not be very strong in my area. I am generally going to be using it for fishing and therefore recption should not be a problem, although one down point I have noticed is that it seems to eat up batteries very quickly - make sure you used good quality types to ensure use of this radio over long periods of time.

Sonic DVD
This animated series of episodes are good viewing if your kids are into sonic games / adventures. I have a little boy of 5 years old and he is into the computer games side of things at the moment, and loves to play Sonic Mega collection. However when he has some TV time, these DVDs are great. He could watch them all day if he had the chance. Good viewing, treat a little one to some quality viewing.
