Perfect replacement for original remote

Very happy to get this remote when the original remote died. Works just like the original. Second time I have bought one as originals seem to have a finite lifespan. In fact I bought 2 this time so that I have a replacement on hand when the third (and final) original remote eventually dies.

Automated roller door opening at last!

After nearly 6 years of manually opening and closing my garage roller door it was time to find an automated solution. After much online searching I opted for the padors door opener. This decision was based on price, warranty and, most of all, because it had extensions for the drive arms as the wheels on my roller door seemed to be somewhat further from the door edge than other doors I have seen. These extensions proved invaluable as without them the drive mechanism would not have engaged properly. Installation was reasonably straight forward after I had repositioned the mounting bracket on the wall of the garage to provide sufficient room to mount the motor. I strongly suggest reading the installation instructions several times as they are written in a "quaint" style of English that can be a bit confusing on the first read. Since installation 6 weeks ago the door has been working perfectly and the remote controls provided seem to work from a fair distance away - you don't have to be close to the door for them to work (unlike some other brands I have seen reviewed). Overall I am very happy with the choice of the Padors door opener.
