This is one of the finest science fiction films of recent times. I believe that as time passes, it will be revered in a similar way to Blade Runner. The effects are groundbreaking and seamless, the cinematography exceptional and it has a darkness about it which is entirely alien to mainstream cinema. This is one of Spielberg's finest achievements - if you haven't seen it, stop waiting! It's not quite perfect but it travels way beyond the cliches and situations that plague so many modern movies

Raw Pat
Not quite as brilliant as the awe-inspiring Ghetty Green, this one still delivers but you'll probably only love it after several listens. A slow burner.

Bloody Italian ripper
This film exhibits many of the classic trademarks of Giallo cinema, the mysterious, barely seen killer, graphic violence (a particularly gruesome bathroom murder), unsettling sound & camera angles & the trademark twist ending. Although Lamberto Bava lacks the cinematic flair of his father, he handles suspense well & knows how to freak out the audience. The version I veiwed was dubbed, which is always a distraction, but if you can get over this aspect, it is an enjoyable & well-paced suspense film.
