Read this before you become a crofter!
Alasdair Maclean is an eccentric and compelling writer. Dry and preceptive with a taste for honest storytelling sometimes couched in the most elaborately coded euphemism. I discovered him whiling staying in a house in Sanna that had been in the same family since his time there.
He is not the only poet whose prosework is more enjoyable than his verse.
A real insight into the mindset of the last of the old school crofting families.

Classic keyboard. robust service life
1 of 1 found this helpful I find the wired version of the keyboard seems to have slightly heavier key springs and swill outlast the iMac. Ours are in heavy use in our Architecture studio and we try to get 7 years use per machine. The magic keyboards are only lasting about 3-4 years with the same usage. Incidentally I also dislike the Apple wireless mouse. because it is not a daily charged item, it is a real pain when it runs out of battery as you cannot use it while it is charging.
